The Last Supper Party is a free-admission monthly spoken word and music series curated by Kimi Sugioka and presented by San Francisco International Arts Festival (SFIAF). The series runs every third Wednesday at 7:00pm. The November program includes Spoken Duets featuring Susan Dambroff and Chris Kammler, with words and music courtesy of Jeff DeMark. There will be an open microphone to follow and the event will include complimentary snacks and beverages.

Susan Dambroff -poet, performer, teacher, and avid doodler.  She has published two chapbooks, “Conversations with Trees” and “A Chair Keeps the Floor Down” with Finishing Line Press. She performs in Spoken Duets, a poetic collaboration with Chris Kammler. They weave and wrangle with words as they give voice to the challenges of living in a body in these tumultuous and hair-raising times.

Chris Kammler is a self-employed Drama Therapist specializing in Dialectical & Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from creative arts & experiential therapy base. Chris performs in Spoken Duets, a poetic collaboration with Susan Dambroff. They weave and wrangle with words as they give voice to the challenges of living in a body in these tumultuous and hair-raising time. She is also an advocate for the environment and ocean aware.

Jeff DeMark has been performing in Humboldt County for over 30 years. He has written five theatrical storytelling shows, including “Went to Lunch, Never Returned”, “Hard as a Diamond, Soft as the Dirt” and “Writing My Way Out of Adolescence.” Three of the shows debuted at Dell’Arte’s Mad River Festival to sold out houses and acclaim. DeMark toured widely with the shows from San Francisco to Minneapolis to New York City. The past few years DeMark has concentrated on songwriting and shorter stories,

plus live music with narratives.
