Abolition Art Show Auction

  • 3036 24th Street San Francisco, CA 94110 USA (map)

Join us for our Abolition Art Auction, a fundraising event dedicated to paying abolitionists for their work!
“Build Abolition 101 at CCSF” is a free and accessible virtual introductory class on abolition of the prison industrial complex created by CCSF Collective members. Educators, organizers and activists from organizations including Critical Resistance, DOPE Project, Do No Harm Coalition, Sogorea Te’ Land Trust, SF Rising and many more spoke about what abolition means to them and what it looks like in their work. Each presenter was asked,“ In your wildest dreams, what does an abolitionist world look like to you?” We can all ask ourselves this question.
Art by Marley Aikhionbare, A Vivid Life, Alexis Reiko Yonan, Alyssa Aviles, Andrew Sungtaek ingersoll, Chris Gazaleh, Heesoo Kwon, Lauren D'amato, Mike Kang, Nick DeRenzi, Reniel Del Rosario, Tyler Ormsby, Valerie Iosso & More. Speakers include SF Poet Laureate Tongo Eisen-Martin, Justice 4 Derrick Gaines, POOR Magazine, Defund SFPD Now and Charlie Garcia-Spiegel. Food provided by Food Not Bombs.
All proceeds go to the speakers and facilitators of “Build Abolition 101 at CCSF''. Access the virtual class series here: https://www.ccsfcollective.org/abol101.
