PLEASE NOTE ;DUE TO COVID CONCERNS THIS WONDERFUL EVENT HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR FEBRUARY 23rd Reading Series established in memory of Al Young, former poet laureate of California, and a longstanding Bay Area poet, novelist, and essayist, who contributed much to the poetry community and culture of California. This month's reading will feature readings by Oakland poet, James Cagney and the newly-established Bay Area poet, Zeina Hashem Beck; the reading will be followed by a 30-minute open mic.
