Join us today for a conversation with Dr. L. Ayu Saraswati, author of SCARRED: A FEMINIST JOURNEY THROUGH PAIN.
SCARRED explores how pain is not only personal, but also structural, social, and political. The book invites readers to address pain and live with it in a way that is more life-sustaining, social-justice oriented, and feminist, and to go beyond the neoliberal approaches of positive thinking and self-help.
Facilitated by Dr. Joanne Rondilla, San Jose State University.
