Caleb Luna reads from his new book Revenge Body(Nomadic Press 2022) and will be joined by this amazing group of poets;

Caleb Luna is an artist, public scholar and theorist of the body. Texas born and raised, they have lived as a visitor to Huichin, Ohlone land (Bay Area, CA) since 2016, where they earned their Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley. They are the bestselling author of REVENGE BODY (Nomadic Press, 2022), an award-winning educator and scholar, and co-host of the podcast Unsolicited: Fatties Talk Back. Hieu Minh Nguyen is the author of two collections of poetry, Not Here (Coffee House Press, 2018), and This Way to the Sugar (Write Bloody Press, 2014). His work has appeared in The Atlantic, Hobart, Best American Poetry, The New York Times, and elsewhere. He is a graduate of the MFA Program for Writers at Warren Wilson College. Originally from the Twin Cities, Hieu now lives in the Bay Area where he is a Lecturer at Stanford University and serves as the Lead Poet Mentor at Youth Speaks.

Rawiyah Tariq is a Black, gender non-binary artist, writer and kink aware professional with roots in queer, poly-amorous and fat community. Magic, massage, storytelling and performance art are tools they use to liberate, heal and reclaim space for marginalized communities. They believe in cohesive, liberative and somatic practices that align body, mind and spirit. Connect to them on social media. Tricia Rainwater is a Choctaw Indigiqueer multimedia artist based on Ramaytush Ohlone land. Her work has been featured nationally and internationally through group shows and artist features. In her work Tricia focuses on creating pathways to a resilient and hopeful future. Her work centers healing and processing through grief and mourning. Tricia’s work ranges from self portraiture to large sculptural installations.
