Join us for an afternoon of poetry with Ari Banias and Brandon Som. Presented by our dear amigxs at San Francisco State’s Poetry Center.

Ari Banias is the author of A Symmetry (2021), winner of the 2022 Publishing Triangle Award for Trans & Gender Variant Literature, and Anybody (2016), a finalist for the Kate Tufts Discovery Award and the PEN Center USA Literary Award.

Brandon Som received his PH.D. in Literature and Creative Writing from the University of Southern California, and an M.F.A in Poetry at the University of Pittsburgh. He is the author of The Tribute Horse, winner of the Kate Tufts Discovery Award, and the chapbook Babel’s Moon, winner of the Snowbound Prize.
