Kuxkatan Collective presents a commemoration for the people killed in “La Matanza”

The Kuxkatan Collective is having it’s 25th annual commemoration of the 1932 massacre of over 30,000 indigenous peoples in what today is known as El Salvador. It is a free event and will have Pomo Singers, Native Drummers and Mayan elders who will speak on this event. (Don Pascual Yaxon, Cachiquel Mayan elder and cultural teacher) We will also have an invocation by other California indigenous peoples for this event.
