micha cárdenas is a multidisciplinary artist, poet, and filmmaker. She is Associate Professor of Performance, Play and Design, and Critical Race and Ethnic Studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz. She is the author of Poetic Operations: Trans of Color Art in Digital Media (Duke 2022), which was the co-winner of the 2022 Gloria Anzaldúa book prize from NWSA.
