Drag Story Hour (Sundance Filmed Edition) with Panda Dulce!

  • 3036 24th Street San Francisco, CA 94110 USA (map)

Join Panda Dulce for a *special* superstar filmed edition of Drag Story Hour!

In 2022, Panda’s reading was stormed by the Proud Boys. But thanks to grant support from Sundance and the San Francisco Arts Commission, she is producing an inspiring short film about the direct aftermath of this encounter, and the bravery and resilience drag artists and LGBTQ youth workers have developed.

We welcome you to attend this Drag Story Hour, that will be featured in the credits of this Sundance-supported short film! Required releases will be available upon arrival.

Panda Dulce is a writer and one of the founding queens of the Drag Story Hour. In June 2022, far-right extremists stormed her Drag Story Hour, making global headlines. She is now leveraging her platform to tell even gayer stories.

Kyle's writing has been featured on MTV, Vogue, and NPR, and has received awards from Sundance, SFFILM, the San Francisco Arts Commission and the California Arts Council.

HarperCollins is publishing her debut middle grade two-book series “The Queen Bees of Tybee County,” which hits shelves in April 2025!
