During this one-hour workshop, Daniel Sanchez Torres will explain how to apply design thinking to essay writing.
Design thinking is a human-centered approach to innovation rooted in understanding our human needs and generating creative ideas. A tool originally created to transform the development of products and services, as just two examples, design thinking can also be a tool for writers to develop their own writing skills and break out of a rut. By the end of the workshop, students will work together to develop essay prompts exclusive to each writer.
This workshop is open to all levels and genres!
