Speaking Axolotl our monthly Latinx/Chicanx reading series happens the third Thursday of each monht. Come hear Decolonized Verses, Spanglish Poesia, Bilingual chismes y Latinx Spoken Word. Each month we feature two poets and a 10 slot open mic. Open mic lista will be posted ten minutes before the reading starts, This month our very special feature is Lourdes Figueroa. Lourdes will be reading and will also present her new poetry film “Las Marimacha Fragments”, which was co created with Peggy Peralta. This 11 minute film is a beautiful and tender ode to Brown Queer Love here in the city of San Pancho
